I met Andres and Diómedes, archeology students at the Universidad Externado de Colombia in Bogota, walking around at La Candelaria, Bogota’s popular historical downtown, atop a valley, where Bogota was founded and the first church was built. Their native attire comes from the indigenous community of the Arhuacos, who have lived for centuries on the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta.
